The rain-shortened event was held at the 6,685-yard, par-71 Country Club of Salisbury. The 54-hole tournament was reduced to 27 holes due to heavy rains and flood over the past three days of the event.

His retirement will come on May 31, 2017 at the conclusion of the spring golf season, ending one of the most decorated and successful coaching tenures at Tennessee's most historic college.
