JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. --- Carson-Newman's Molly Locke recorded 13 kills and eight digs to lead the Eagles to a 3-0 victory over visiting Tusculum Tuesday night at Holt Fieldhouse in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action.
Carson-Newman (23-5, 16-3 SAC) won the match by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-23.
Tusculum was led by Sarah Bouley as she accounted for a double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs. Setter Hannah Berling also had a double-double with 24 assists and a team-high 16 digs. Rachel Garnett finished with 10 kills, two blocks and a .280 hitting percentage.
C-N's Anna Patton paced the Eagle offense with 31 assists to go along with her eight digs. Teammate Natalie Harris tallied 10 kills, six blocks and a .391 attack percentage.
Tusculum (11-14, 8-11 SAC) returns to action on Friday as they host Lenoir-Rhyne for Senior Night at 7 p.m.
