GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Meredith Jones recorded 21 kills, 11 digs and a match-high six service aces to lead the Queens University of Charlotte volleyball team to a 3-1 South Atlantic Conference victory over Tusculum Saturday afternoon at Pioneer Arena.

The Royals (11-13, 9-9 SAC) won the match by scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-15 and 25-23 to split the season series and avenge last month's five-set loss to the Pioneers (11-13, 8-10 SAC).

Queens finished the match with 13 service aces, including Jones' six and two each from Taylor Henry and Katie Schoenrock.

Tusculum had four players with double-digit kills including Rachel Garnett's dozen, 11 each from Laryssa Welch and Sarah Bouley and 10 from Sabrina Schlueger. TC setter Hannah Berling dished out 39 assists and made 10 digs in the loss.

The setter duo of Annika Jones and Sydney Kunz tallied 20 and 19 assists, respectively for the Royals.

Tusculum returns to action on Tuesday as they travel to Jefferson City to take on arch-rival Carson-Newman for a 7 p.m. match at Holt Fieldhouse.
