Berling named TSWA Volleyball Player of the Week
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tusculum College's Hannah Berling has been named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Volleyball Player of the Week. Berling recorded 121 assists along with 26 digs and 14 kills in three matches last week for the Pioneers (6-4, 4-3 South Atlantic Conference).

The senior setter opened the week with 49 assists with a season-high seven kills and seven digs in a win against Mars Hill. Berling tallied 40 assists with nine digs at Catawba before registering a double-double with 32 assists and 10 digs at Queens.

The Middletown, Ohio, native has 399 assists this season and leads the SAC with 10.50 per set. She has handed out at least 30 assists in every match while tallying 98 digs and 26 kills. Berling needs just 68 assists to move to fourth all-time in program history.

Berling and the rest of the Pioneers will return to action this weekend in a pair of conference road matches. They will be at Lenoir-Rhyne on Friday night before taking on Brevard Saturday afternoon.
