WINGATE, N.C. --- Stormi Gale posted 13 kills
and a .600 hitting percentage to lead the Wingate University
volleyball team to a three-set win over the visiting Tusculum
College Saturday afternoon at Cuddy Arena. The Bulldogs (23-1, 12-0
SAC) won the match by scores for 25-17, 25-14, 25-19. It was also
Wingate's 21st straight victory on the season.
Tusculum's Katie Luebke accounted for 11 kills and seven digs,
while Peyton Colclough dished out 29 assists to go along with three
digs in the loss.
Wingate's Heather Myklebust tallied nine kills and six digs, while
Ashley Craven and Lauren Billo added six kills each as the Bulldogs
posted a .356 hitting percentage for the match.
Tusculum returns to action this Wednesday when the Pioneers host
Lincoln Memorial for a 6:30 p.m. SAC match.
