In the first set, Tusculum jumped out to a 7-1 advantage,

The second set saw the lead change hands on six occasions. With
the set tied at 20-20, Tusculum closed out the set with a 5-1
spurt, kills by Luebke and senior Heather

kill by MacArthur, LMU responded with five straight points,
including a Horenkamp kill as the Railsplitters went ahead 15-13.
TC would later tie the set 19-19 back-to-back kills by Luebke and
Kelsey Hayden. The Splitters would wrap up the
frame with a 6-3 run with Horenkamp sealing the set with a kill for
a 25-22 score.
As close as the third set was, the fourth set was even closer with
14 ties and seven lead changes. With the score knotted at 14-14,
LMU erupted with a 6-1 spurt capped off by a Alison
Hess service ace for a 20-15 LMU lead. But the Pioneers
rallied with a 10-3 spurt, including five points on Garcia's serve.
