HILTON HEAD, S.C. --- Indiana University of Pennsylvania won the final three singles matches to defeat Tusculum College 5-4 in a battle of nationally-ranked unbeaten teams Monday morning.

The 38th-ranked Crimson Hawks (3-0) trailed the 47th-ranked Pioneers (7-1) by a 4-2 score, but earned straight-set victories in the last three singles matches to rally for the win.

Tusculum led 2-1 after doubles as Kealee Heffner and Erin Mills defeated Raquel Gonzalez and Rachel Wood 9-7 at flight two, and Adrienne Kaye and Emily Waters beat Sophie Butland and Claudia Menes 8-6 at flight three.

In singles, the Pioneers received victories from Franziska Funke at flight two and Mills at flight three to go on top 4-2. Funke beat Gonzalez 6-3, 6-2 while Mills was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Butland.

Tusculum will face another ranked opponent on Tuesday morning when the Pioneers square off with 19th-ranked Northwood University at 8 a.m.
