GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Erin Mills recorded the match-clinching point at No. 2 singles in leading the 31st-ranked Tusculum College women's tennis team to an 8-1 South Atlantic Conference victory over Coker College Saturday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex.

Tusculum (12-1, 4-1 SAC) won two of the three doubles matches, including an 8-2 pro set win at the top flight pairing of Franziska Funke and Amanda Sumner. TC was also victorious at No. 3 doubles as Kate Hutchinson and Emily Waters combined for an 8-3 victory over Jessi Campos and Suzanna Mickey.

Mills claimed the deciding point with her 6-3, 7-5 straight set win over Coker's Jennifer Mezei.

Tusculum swept all six singles matches, including wins by Kealee Heffner, Funke, Mills, Hutchinson, Adrienne Kaye and Sarah Baker.

The Pioneers return to action Sunday afternoon as they host Newberry College for a noon contest. It will be a rematch of last year's SAC Tournament championship match, which Tusculum won 5-4.
