GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University women's soccer coach Mike Joy has announced the signing of 12 student-athlete who have committed to play for the Pioneers next season.

This year's women's soccer class includes student-athletes representing seven U.S. States and one player from Canada.  The new crop of Pioneers also includes four midfielders, four defenders, three forwards and one goalkeeper.

The Pioneers welcome striker Tina Haig (Washington, Pa.), center back Arisa Timoll (Courtice, Ontario, Canada), defender Ashley Waggoner (Little Elm, Texas), midfielder Bailey Bylotos (Fort Worth, Texas), midfielder Peiton Bledsoe (Maryville, Tenn.), midfielder/defender Corinna Klepser (Mt. During its 21-year association as a NCAA Division II member (all under Coach Joy), Tusculum has never experienced a losing season including 18 campaigns with 10 or more victories.

"With the upcoming graduation of 11 seniors from this year's team, I expect this class will compete for positions immediately and I am very excited about this year's signing class."

The 2018 Pioneers are coming off an 8-7-3 campaign while facing a challenging schedule which included four wins over teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament including Nova Southeastern, Catawba, Lincoln Memorial and Carson-Newman.  TU went 4-1 against 2018 NCAA Tournament teams with its only setback coming against regionally top-ranked Columbus State.
