Tusculum College junior forward Tramicka James and freshman goalkeeper Marissa Williams have been named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II Women's All-Southeast Region Team, the NSCAA announced Friday.

James was named to the second team and earned All-Region honors for the third time in her career, while Williams was a third-team pick and one of only two freshmen among the 40 players named All-Region. Tusculum has had 30 players named to the NSCAA All-Region team since joining NCAA Division II for the 1998 season.

James (Wilson, N.C.), a first-team pick in both 2009 and 2010, was a Daktronics first-team All-Region and first-team All-South Atlantic Conference honoree after she led the SAC in total goals (15), goals per match (0.830), total points (34) and points per match (1.89). She scored at least one goal in 10 of the Pioneers' 19 matches, including four multi-goal games, and tallied three game-winning goals including the winner with 18 seconds left in 2-1 win over Catawba on Oct. 22.

In the final NCAA Division II Women's soccer statistics, James ranks 16th in total goals, 22nd in total points, 18th in goals per match and 23rd in points per match. She is fourth among Southeast Region players in both total goals and total points, and fifth in the region in both goals per match and points per match.

James became the third player in program history to reach 100 career points with an assist in the Pioneers' 3-0 win at Carson-Newman on Oct. 26, while her 43 career goals are tied for third on the program's all-time list. She will enter her senior season tied for ninth in career assists with 16 and in third place on the career scoring list with 102 points.

Williams (Canton, Mich.) started 17 matches and compiled a 10-6-2 record with seven shutouts and a 1.22 goals against average. She shared the SAC lead in shutouts with seven, and finished second in the conference in saves per match (5.67), fourth in save percentage (.816) and fifth in goals against average.

Williams made 10 or more saves in a match five times in 2011, including 14 stops in a 3-0 shutout of NCAA qualifier Lees-McRae. Her 102 saves rank seventh on the Tusculum single-season list, and she ranks 66th in save percentage and 100th in goals against average in the final NCAA Division II statistics.

The Pioneers finished 10-7-2 overall in 2011 and shared third place in the final South Atlantic Conference standings with a 5-4 league record.
