Three-time All-South Atlantic Conference standout Claire Wach was named the assistant women's lacrosse coach at Tusculum College in August 2016.

During the 2017 campaign, the Pioneers faced an extremely tough schedule which included four matches against nationally-ranked teams, including a pair of top-10 opponents.  The Pioneers had three players earn All-SAC recognition including Malone (first team), Elliott (honorable mention) and rookie Juliette Cusano (honorable mention).  Four players earned IWLCA Academic Honor Roll recognition, while the Tusculum earned IWLCA All-Academic Team distinction for a third season in a row.

Wach, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, played four seasons at SAC member Lenoir-Rhyne University where she helped the Bears to a 39-32 overall record, including three straight double-digit win seasons.  

Her teams posted an impressive 19-3 mark in SAC play and finished runner-up in the conference regular-season and tournament finals on three occasions.  During her career, she established a league record 259 draw controls, as she led the SAC in that category in each of the last three seasons, including a conference-best 79 in each of her last two campaigns.

Wach garnered IWLCA Division II All-South Region third team honors in 2016 as she posted 34 goals, 29 assists (7th in SAC) and 63 points (10th in SAC) for the Bears.  She led the conference in ground balls (58 – 15th in NCAA II) and draw controls (13th in NCAA II).

In 2015, she garnered All-SAC second team honors with her 41 goals (10th in SAC), 24 assists (3rd in SAC) and 65 points (6th in SAC).  She tallied a 57 ground balls (2nd in SAC) to go along with her 24 caused turnovers (6th in SAC).

She earned a spot on the inaugural All-SAC first team in 2014 as the Bears went 11-8 and finished with a 5-1 mark in the league.  She earned team best attack honors as she notched 42 goals (4th in SAC) and 23 assists (2nd in SAC) for her 65 points (3rd in SAC).  Wach also led the SAC ground balls (65), draw controls (72) and caused turnovers (34).

In her rookie year of 2013, she garnered Division II All-Freshman Team honors as she posted 13 goals, four assists, 17 points, 45 ground balls, 29 draw controls and 16 caused turnovers.

Wach ended her L-R career with 225 ground balls and 95 caused turnovers.

In 2015, she coached in the Foothills Lacrosse League in Hickory, North Carolina. As a student at Lenoir-Rhyne, she served as an intern within the university's athletic department.

She graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in exercise science along with a minor in psychology.
