Malone, Pioneers listed in NCAA women's lacrosse statistics

INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum junior attacker Madison Malone is listed in four individual categories, while the Pioneers are mentioned three times as a team in the final 2017 NCAA Division II national women's lacrosse statistics.

Malone, a three-time All-South Atlantic Conference first team selection, finished the season third in the country in assists per game, averaging 3.12 helpers per contest.  She also finished 21st in points per game (4.59), 23rd in draw controls per game (4.29) and 26th in free position percentage (.550).

Malone (Maple Grove, Minn.) broke her own school single-season records for assists (53) and points (78). She holds the program career record for both assists (127) and points (193) along with draw controls (164) and ground balls (136).

The Pioneers (5-12 overall) finished the year ranked 15th in the nation averaging 14.24 draw controls per game.  TC was also 17th in free position percentage (.478) and 22nd in assists per game (6.12).
