Tusculum women in 18th place after first round of Bearcat Invitational

GREENWOOD, S.C. --- The Tusculum University women's golf team shot 330 and was in 18th place after their opening round of the 2023 Bearcat Invitational.

Over half of the 20-team field has yet to complete their second round as play was suspended due to darkness. TU has four holes remaining in its second round and they will complete it on Tuesday morning before moving to final round play.

Anderson was one of eight teams to complete its second round as the Trojans shot 577 (+1) and have a 13-stroke lead over Lee University (590) and are 18 shots clear of third place Columbus State (595).

Tusculum's Nilubol Panno posted a three-over par 75 and was in 19th place after 18 holes. Reagan Padilla and Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen each carded an 84 and were tied for 87th. Adrienne O'Brien was 92nd with her 87 and Lindsay Self carded an 89 and was 96th.

Anderson's Kerington Lamb posted back-to-back scores of 71 for her 142 and is currently in first place.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being hosted by Lander University at the par-72, 5,976-yard Greenwood Country Club.
