Women's Golf in seventh place at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --- The Tusculum University women's golf team opened with team score of 330 and are in seventh place after the first round of the 2022 Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being conducted at the par-72, 5,958-yard Golf Club of South Hampton.

Second round play was suspended due to darkness and will be resumed on Tuesday morning, which will be followed by the final round.

Tusculum's Hannah Brown posted an 81 in her opening round and was tied for 21st place, while Nilubol Panno shot 82 and is tied for 26th. Olivia Cunningham carded an 83 (T32), Sofie Lorentzen shot 84 (T36) while Braelyn Pippin rounded out the scoring with her 86 (T49).

Limestone shot a first round 297 and has a 21-shot lead over second place Wingate, who finished with 318. The Saints posted the four lowest individual scores led by Taylor Oberparleiter

West Georgia is third with 319, followed by Lander (322), Lenoir-Rhyne (324), Belmont Abbey (326), Tusculum (330), host Lincoln Memorial (333), Coker (338), King (348), Erskine (348), Emmanuel (349), Montana St. Billings (352), North Greenville (354), Catawba (356), Southern Wesleyan (366) and Barton (383).
