BLUFFTON, S.C. --- The Tusculum University women's golf team posted a two-day score of 658 to finish 11th at the Low Country Invitational.

NCAA Division I Western Michigan led wire-to-wire to win the team title as the Broncos posted 619, four shots better than runner-up Flagler (623). UNC Pembroke was third with 624, followed by Lander (629), Newberry, (634), Anderson (636), Wingate (641), Lenoir-Rhyne (645), Catawba (645), Queens (649), Tusculum (658), Wingate B (722) and Chowan (DNS).

Tusculum senior Katie Tomassoni finished 11th with 156 including a final round 81.  Freshman Julia Johansson finished with a 36-hole total of 159 including Tuesday's 78.  Olivia Cunningham was 34th with 79-83=162, while Taylor White (88-93=181) and Jacque Butler (95-101=196) finished 54th and 60th, respectively.

Western Michigan's Jasmine Chee won defeated Lander's Hannah Stephenson on the first playoff hole to capture medalist honors.  Chee and Stephenson each shot 149 over the two-day event.

The Pioneers are back in action next week (Mar. 11-12) for the Buccaneer Spring Classic in Germantown, Tennessee.
