GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Newberry College women's golf team fired a final day 313 to overcome a 10-shot deficit to win the 19th annual Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational. The two-day, 36-hole tournament was hosted by Tusculum College and held at the par-72, 5,805-yard Link Hills Country Club.

The Wolves posted a two-day score of 634 and won by a single shot over runner-up Lincoln Memorial University (635). Carson-Newman University made the biggest move of the day as the Eagles posted a Tuesday-best 312 to finish with 636 to finish third. King finished fourth with 638, while the host Pioneers tallied 643 to finish fifth.

Carson-Newman's Elizabeth England captured medalist honors as she fired a two-day score of 148, including a final round 72. Newberry's Nabila Inak and Elizabeth Swallow of King tied for second place with 153. Danielle Burrell of LMU finished fourth with 154, while Newberry's Karly Mims rounded out the All-Tournament Team with 157.

Anderson University finished sixth with 653, followed by Converse College (658), Lenoir-Rhyne University (661), Methodist University (661) and Pfeiffer University (661) to round out the top-10. Tusculum B finished 11th with 693, followed by Converse B (697), North Greenville (698), Belmont Abbey (716) and Brevard (730).

Tusculum's Ciara Rattana and Katie Tomassoni tied for seventh place honors as they each finished with 159. TC's Taylor Lambertsen tied for 17th place with 162, while Cydney Murrell carded 164 to tie for 23rd position. Senior Calley Lawson, playing in her final home tournament at Link Hills, finished 43rd with 169.

Tusculum B was led by Lindsay Butler as she posted 166 to tie for 33rd place, including her final round 79. Kesley Haun and Taylor White tied for 45th place after posting totals of 170. Trista Holder finished 78th with 187, while Sayre Hopper was 82nd with 196. Playing as individual competitors, Blythe Scrivner tied for 35th place with 167, while senior Kelly Horrell posted 182 (T68) in her final event at Link Hills.

The Pioneers will now set the sights on this weekend's South Atlantic Conference Championship which will be held in Monroe, North Carolina starting with Sunday's opening round.
