ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --- The Tusculum College women's golf team shot an opening round score of 329 and are in 16th place at the Flagler Fall Slam. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is being held at the 6,062-yard, par-72 Marsh Creek Country Club and is being hosted by Flagler College.

Freshman Katie Tomassoni is leading the charge for the Pioneers as she posted a first day 79 and is tied for 46th place. Ciara Rattana is tied for 57th place after shooting 80 on Monday. Cydney Murrell shot 83 and is tied for 74th, while Taylor Lambertsen (T81) and Taylor White (T83) shot rounds of 87 and 88, respectively. TC's Blythe Scrivner, who is playing as an individual competitor, carded an 82 and is tied for 67th.

Florida Tech shot a one-under par 287 and has the first round lead by four strokes over second place Montevallo (291). FIT's Guro Rambjoer has the individual lead after shooting a four-under par 68.

Barry is third with 293, followed by Saint Leo (299), Flagler (300), Armstrong State (301), California Baptist (304), Lynn (305), Seminole State (305), King (311), Limestone (311), Tampa (319), Wingate (319), Embry-Riddle (321), Columbus State (324), Tusculum and North Georgia (337)

The final round of the 2015 Flagler Fall Slam will be held on Tuesday.
