GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College women's golf team fired a first day score of 306 and is in second place at the 10th annual TC Fall Classic, which is being held at Link Hills Country Club.

The two-day, 36-hole event is being contested on the par-72, 5,805-yard layout and hosted by the Pioneers.

Lenoir-Rhyne University shot a first-day score of 304 and leads by two shots over Tusculum and 10 strokes better than third-place Milligan College. Tusculum Black is in fourth place with 319, followed by Lincoln Memorial University B (331), Mars Hill University (337), Brevard College (340) and Spartanburg Methodist College (373).

Tusculum sophomore Blythe Scrivner of TC Black carded a career-best one-over par 73 and is tied with L-R's Abbey Hartsell for the individual lead. Michaela Conway of LMU B is in third place with 74, while Tusculum sophomore Ciara Rattana shot 75 and is in sole possession of fourth place.

Tusculum freshman Katie Tomassoni is in fifth place with 76 while making her collegiate debut on Monday. TC junior Taylor Lambertsen is eighth with 77, while the freshmen duo of Taylor White (T13) and Cydney Murrell (T15) posted rounds of 78 and 79, respectively and are in the top-15.

Rookie Kelsey Haun and senior Calley Lawson are tied for 19th place with 81, while freshman Trista Holder shot 83 and is tied for 25th place, playing as an individual competitor.

Senior Kelly Horrell carded an 84 and is tied for 28th place while playing for Tusculum Black. Junior Lindsay Butler is also playing for Tusculum Black and is tied for 32nd following her 87, while sophomore Sayre Hopper rounds out the scoring with 98 and is in 42nd place.

Tuesday's final round will begin at 9 a.m. with the women's teams starting on the first hole. Individual competitors will being play at 9 a.m., while TC Black will start its tee times at 9:40 a.m. Tusculum will be in the final grouping with Lenoir-Rhyne and Milligan and will start their final round at 10:20 a.m.
