JONESBORO, Ark. --- Tusculum's Alexa Tieto bowled a five-game traditional total of 1,019 pins and placed 35th individually during day two action of the Mid-Winter Classic.
The Pioneers went 1-4 on the day and are in 17th place heading into Sunday's 7-Game Baker bracket matches.
This weekend's slate 18-team tournament slate includes 13 programs who are nationally-ranked.
The Pioneers dropped two matches to fifth-ranked Louisiana Tech (960-862 & 1029-904) and suffered setback to No. 19 Sacred Heart (1014-810) and 21st-ranked Lincoln Memorial (934-861).
Third-ranked Nebraska heads into Sunday play in first place as the Huskers are 9-1 this weekend and have totaled 10,847 pins and lead by 325 over second-place Wisconsin-Whitewater.
The Tusculum trio of Samantha England (901), Allison Robbins (900) and Erin Burkart (895) finished 66th, 67th and 68th, respectively. Savannah Price placed 84th with her four-game total of 569 pins.
The Pioneers will open bracket play against Alabama A&M on Sunday morning.
