PRINCESS ANNE, Md. --- For the first time in program history, the Tusculum University women's bowling team is nationally ranked. The Pioneers are listed ninth in the latest National Tenpin Coaches' Association Division II/III Poll.
Tusculum (35-41) is one of eight East Coast Conference teams listed as the Pioneers compete in their inaugural season.
TU has recorded seven wins over nationally-ranked teams this year including Nebraska, Delaware State, Fairleigh Dickinson, North Carolina A&T and Lincoln Memorial (two times).
Tusculum is also listed 29th in the NTCA Team Composite Performance Index for all NCAA programs. The Pioneers have an index rating of 52.92 percent.
The Pioneers return to action this weekend as the travel to Orlando, Florida for the Wildcat Classic
