Danielle Catron was named to the Tusculum University women's basketball staff in August 2018, serving as a graduate assistant coach.

She played her collegiate career at NCAA Division II Concord University from 2014-2018.  While at the Athens, West Virginia school she finished ninth in school history with her 1,174 career points.  She finished her career in Concord's top-10 in field goals made (472 - 9th), field goal attempts (1,033 - 6th) and field goal percentage (.457 - 8th). She is also just one of 11 players in program history to make 100 three-pointers as she connected on 110 during her career.  She scored a career-high 30 points against Bluefield State in her senior campaign.

The Marion, Virginia product played her prep career at Chilhowie High School where she was a three-time All-State standout and was named the 2014 West Virginia State Player of the Year. She led Chilhowie to the 2014 state championship, capping an outstanding high school career scoring 2,151 points.  She shined off the prep hardwood, graduating as valedictorian.

She graduated from Concord in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science degree while majoring in mathematics.
