CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- The Tusculum University women's basketball team remains ranked ninth in this week's D2SIDA Southeast Region rankings.
The Pioneers (6-2) won 68-62 at North Greenville on December 19th in TU's last outing.
North Georgia (8-1) continues at number one in the region after a pair of wins. Anderson (10-2) stays at second in the poll with two victories last week, while Newberry stays at third with a 9-1 record. Carson-Newman (10-3) is up one spot to fourth while Wingate dropped two positions to fifth.
Barton (10-2) and Columbus State (6-2) each climbed one spot and are ranked sixth and seventh, respectively. Lander (6-4) is up two spots to eighth, followed by Tusculum in ninth and Emmanuel (8-3) cracks this week's top-10.
Tusculum returns to action with three games this week including home contests on Wednesday and Thursday. TU hosts Bluefield State on Wednesday at 6 p.m. followed by Thursday's 4 p.m. contest against Livingstone. The Pioneers return to South Atlantic Conference play this Saturday with a road trip to Lenoir-Rhyne.
