CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- The Tusculum University women's basketball team has moved up one spot to ninth in this week's D2SIDA Southeast Region rankings, through games of December 16.

The Pioneers (5-2) defeated Queens 94-62 in their only game of the week, moving them out of a three-way tie for 10th in last week's survey.

North Georgia (6-1) continues at number one in the region after being idle last week, with Anderson (8-2) up two spots following a pair of victories. Newberry (8-1) and Wingate (6-3) are tied for third, with Carson-Newman (8-3) and Clayton State (4-2) remaining fifth and sixth, respectively.

Following the Pioneers in a three-way tie for 10th are Lander (5-4), which was also tied for 10th last week, along with Lenoir-Rhyne (6-4), down two spots from eighth, and poll newcomer Lincoln Memorial (6-3).
