Mason Rhodes is entering his first season on the coaching staff at Tusculum University. Coach Rhodes works primarily with the quarter milers 

Mason attended Paine College on a Track Scholarship. During his time at Paine College, Mason set school records in 400M and 200M dash.  He was captain for four years. Also He was also Back to Back silver medalist in the 400M Dash in (SIAC) Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. In 2012, Mason graduated from Paine College with a Bachelor or Arts in Psychology.  

After graduating from Paine College, Mason continued his education at Georgia Southern University. While at Georgia Southern, Mason pursued  his Masters while beginning his Professional Track Career. In the early part of his professional career, Mason competed up and down the east coast.  After obtaining his Masters in Higher Education Administration, Mason begin to assist in coaching the Georgia Southern's women's track team.  

In 2015, Mason moved to the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. While competing at the elite level mason also was a Guide runner. He has competed internationally. Mason ran in the 2015 Worlds competition in Doha, Qatar. In 2016, Mason represented the United States  in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mason also competed in the 2017 at the Worlds competition  in London, United Kingdom. Everyday Mason works hard to continue his journey towards his dreams as coaching and preparing for the next Olympics which will be in Tokyo 2020.
