Kimone Green is entering her first year on the coaching staff at Tusculum University as an volunteer coach. Kimone will be working primarily with the Pioneer sprint and 400 meter hurdles group.

Green, a native of Jamaica, was a former student-athlete at Abilene Christian and Liberty University where she excelled both on and off the track. She garnered All-Conference honors at Abilene Christain.

During her time at Abilene, Green competed in the Southland Conference from 2015- 2017 where she participated in the 400m, 200m, 60m hurdles, 4x100m, and 4x400m for the Wilcats. She obtained several wins, personal and facility records. As a Sophomore, Green became the Southland Conference Indoor Champion in the 400m (55.24), scored fifth-place points for the Wildcats in Birmingham, Ala., in the 60 hurdles (8.72), was runner-up in the 200m (24.39) and took third with the 4x400m relay (3:45.65).

Green retained her 400m indoor title the folllwing year by lowering her time to a 54.64, runner-up with the 4x400m relay (3:44.69) and sixth-place finisher in 200m (24.55). Green is the Southland Conference outdoor champion in the 400 hurdles, where she lowered her PR from 58.47 to a splitting 57.78. She also helped her teammates to finish second in the 4x400m relay in 3:41.48 and scored the eighth-place point with the 4x100m relay (47.53).

In her senior year, Green competed in the open 400m where she picked up a PR of 54.28.

Green later transfered to Liberty University as a graduate student where she competed for the Flames for one year. She recieved the 2018 South Indoor Championship outstanding female track award after she won two Big South individual titles in the 400m (PR- 54.47) and the 200m in a PR which is also an indoor school record. She then helped the Flames to finish first in the 4x400m later on. She was also awarded with the Big South Female Athlete of the Week for the outdoor season.

Outdoor was a great season for Green where she won three Big South titles, in the 400m hurdles (58.47), 4x100m (44.80) and the 4x400m (3:36.75 ). Green made it to the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round meet in all three events. Her 4x400m relay missed qualifying to the NCAA Championship in Oregon by one spot but they managed to lower the relay time to 3:36.56.

Green graduated from Abilene Christian with Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sports and recreation management in 2017. She is currently pursing a master's degree in sport management at Liberty University.
