GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University softball has determined the reschedule date for the doubleheader at South Atlantic Conference newcomer UVa-Wise. The Pioneers and Cavaliers will battle on March 5, with the first game set for a 2 p.m. start.
UVa-Wise (6-10, 0-0 SAC) is in its inaugural year in the league and the doubleheader with Tusculum will serve as the Cavaliers' first as a member of the SAC. Kaylee Jones leads the way for the Virginia team with a batting average of .432, an on-base mark of .561, and a slugging percentage of .932. She has contributed 19 hits (including 11 for extra bases), 12 runs scored, 12 RBI, and nine walks. In the circle, McKenna Falwell heads up the pitching staff for the Cavaliers with a record of 3-5 in 49.0 innings of work. She has allowed 43 hits, 15 walks, 12 earned runs, and 54 strikeouts.
