INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College softball team is ranked in three individual and team categories in this week's edition of the NCAA Division II statistics, announced NCAA officials Wednesday.

Tusculum (12-16, 3-7 SAC) has won four of its last five games, including an 8-3 win over Carson-Newman in the first installment of a doubleheader on Tuesday to cap a four-game winning streak.

The Pioneers enter the week ranked 15th in the nation in double plays per game, recording an average of 0.46 twin-killings per contest. Two Pioneers are also ranked individually, as senior Holli Cadenhead enters the week ninth in the nation in walks allowed per seven innings (0.92) and junior Taylor MacDonald is listed 13th in sacrifice hits per game (0.38).

Tusculum returns to the diamond on Saturday when the Pioneers host Catawba College (27-14, 4-4 SAC) to resume their South Atlantic Conference schedule. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Red Edmonds Field.
