GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College softball team
and the Pioneer Student Athlete Council will sponsor the American
Cancer Society Softball Fundraiser during this Saturday's South
Atlantic Conference regular season finale against Newberry College.
First pitch is 2 p.m. at Red Edmonds Field on the Tusculum
campus.
Saturday's event is being organized by Tusculum senior
Makenzie Loy, whose father lost his battle with
cancer last year.
Free food and drinks will be provided to the public, and there
will be cancer awareness tents with information for the
community.
All money raised during Saturday's event will be donated to the
ACS to help with the fight to cure cancer.
