SOFTBALL LISTED IN NCAA STATISTICS - Tusculum Pioneers

INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College softball team is listed in four individual and team categories in this week's edition of the NCAA Division II statistics announced officials Tuesday.

Tusculum (12-22, 3-5 SAC) is ranked 19th in the nation in double plays per game (0.41) this season, and is listed 52nd in the land in fielding percentage (.963). The Pioneers are also ranked 85th in triples per game (0.21), and freshman Savannah Ewing is listed 19th in the nation in sacrifice hits per contest (0.38).

The Pioneers return to the diamond on Wednesday when they travel to Jefferson City, Tenn. for a South Atlantic Conference matchup with Carson-Newman College (19-13, 3-5 SAC). First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
