INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College softball team is
listed in several categories in this week's edition of the NCAA
Division II statistics announced officials Wednesday.Tusculum enters the week ranked 15th in the nation in double plays per game (0.43). The Pioneers are also listed 72nd in the NCAA II in fielding percentage and are on pace to set a new program record with a 95.9% clip in the field this season. Freshman Savannah Ewing is also ranked 18th in the nation in sacrifice hits per game (0.38).
The Pioneers (12-20) return to the diamond on Saturday when they host North Greenville University (10-14) in a non-conference doubleheader at Red Edmonds Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
