Queens stays unbeaten in conference with 8-1 win over Tusculum

CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- A sweep of doubles propelled Queens University of Charlotte to an 8-1 win over Tusculum in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action Saturday afternoon.

The Royals (10-1, 8-0 SAC) remain the lone unbeaten team in the conference, while the Pioneers (10-7, 5-3 SAC) dropped their third consecutive match overall.

After Queens got out to a 3-0 lead in doubles, Tusculum picked up its lone point at flight four of singles as Eduardo Munoz defeated Zachary Williams 7-5, 6-2.

Tusculum will look to regroup on Tuesday when the Pioneers host Anderson at the Nichols Tennis Complex for a 2 p.m. conference match.
