HICKORY, N.C. --- The No. 36 Tusculum men's tennis team blanked host Lenoir-Rhyne 9-0 Tuesday in the Pioneers' South Atlantic Conference opener.
The victory was also the 200th combined win for Tusculum head coach Tommy Arnett. In his seven seasons in Greeneville, Arnett has guided the men's program to 93 wins, while the women's squad has accounted for 108 wins, including an 8-1 victory over the L-R women's team today.
Tusculum returns home on Friday when they host Catawba in an important league tilt at the Nichols Tennis Complex.
