Tusculum ranked 10th in latest United Soccer Coaches Southeast Region poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- The Tusculum University men's soccer team is tenth in this week's United Soccer Coaches Division II Southeast Region poll, through matches of Oct. 22.

The Pioneers (7-4-3) slipped three positions following a disappointing 2-1 setback to Wingate on Saturday at Pioneer Field in their only match of the week. With the win, Wingate (8-3-2) moved up two spots to number one in the region poll.

Lincoln Memorial (9-2-3) also climbed two notches to second following a 2-0 win over Limestone (9-2-2), which dropped from first to third in the poll. Clayton State (10-3-0) also slipped two spots to fourth, while Catawba (8-4-2) and Coker (6-4-3) flipped positions to fifth and sixth, respectively, this week.

Chowan (6-3-4) moved up a spot to seventh, with Lander (7-4-4) gaining two positions to eighth and Francis Marion (7-1-6) staying at ninth ahead of the Pioneers.

Tusculum will host Concord (7-2-6), which is eighth in the Atlantic Region poll, in its only match of the week on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Pioneer Field.
