KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- The Tusculum University men's soccer team is 10th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Southeast Region poll, through games of Sunday, Oct. 1.
The Pioneers (5-3-1) lost 1-0 to Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday in their only match of the week. Tusculum had entered the week ranked fourth in the region.
Limestone (7-0-1) is ranked fourth nationally and first in the region, with Clayton State (8-1-0) 14th in Division II and second in the Southeast Region. Catawba (6-1-1) moved into 22nd in the national poll and remains third in the region.
Coker (4-2-3) moved up one position to fourth, as did Wingate (5-3-1) up to fifth. Francis Marion (5-1-3) climbed three spots to sixth, with Converse (5-2-1) up from eighth to seventh.
Lincoln Memorial (5-2-2) also gained two spots to eighth, while Anderson (3-3-1) slipped two positions to ninth and the Pioneers fell six notches to 10th.
Tusculum will face two regionally-ranked teams this week, with a trip to Anderson on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and a home match with Limestone on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 4:30 p.m.
