ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum University senior forward Ayuk Tambe has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week in men's soccer for the week ending Oct. 7, the SAC office announced Tuesday.

Tambe accounted for all three Pioneer goals in wins over Carson-Newman (1-0) and Newberry (2-0), scoring the game-winning goal in each victory and adding an assist on a late insurance goal in the win over Newberry.

Against Carson-Newman, Tambe scored the only goal of the match with exactly three minutes left to lift the Pioneers to the victory over the Eagles. In the win over Newberry, Tambe scored early in the second half to give the Pioneers a 1-0 lead, then assisted on a goal from Ivan Andabak with seven minutes left.
