On the season, Alvarez has posted three shutouts and owns a 4-1 record with a 1.00 goals against average.

He garnered All-South Atlantic Conference honorable mention accolades last season as he posted an 8-2-2 record in goal with a 0.86 GAA and four shutouts. He posted a 4-0-2 record in his last six starts in 2014 as the Pioneers captured the SAC Tournament championship.

Alvarez is majoring in sport management and is a member of the Tusculum Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

The Pioneers (4-1, 1-0 SAC) return to the pitch this Wednesday afternoon when they host Lincoln Memorial University for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
