Tusculum Men's soccer listed 10th in NSCAA region poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- The Tusculum College men's soccer team is listed 10th in this week's NSCAA/NCAA Division II Southeast Region Poll.

After dropping out of last week's regional top-10, the Pioneers (4-1, 1-0 in South Atlantic Conference) posted a perfect 2-0 record and are back in the NSCAA regional standings. Tusculum blanked Queens University of Charlotte 2-0 in last Wednesday's league opener. TC followed with a 1-0 victory at regional foe Barton on Saturday.

Pfeiffer is the new No. 1 team in the Southeast Region following a pair of victories last week to improve to 6-0 on the season, including a 2-1 decision at previous region top-ranked Limestone. With the loss Limestone has dropped to second, followed by Wingate, Young Harris, Lincoln Memorial, Lander, Flagler, Lenoir-Rhyne, Lees-McRae and Tusculum.

Of the nine other schools listed in this week's NSCAA region poll, five are on Tusculum's schedule, including No. 5 Lincoln Memorial (5-0, 2-0 SAC) who visits Pioneer Field on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
