Tusculum climbs to seventh in NSCAA Southeast Region rankings
KANSAS CITY, Kan. ---

The Tusculum College men's soccer team climbed three spots to seventh in the Southeast Region in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Division II men's regional rankings, through games of Sunday, September 9.

The Pioneers hosted and won both of their games last week, defeating Lees-McRae 2-0 on Friday and Shorter 4-1 on Sunday as part of the Stanno Tournament at Pioneer Field.

Tusculum is joined in the rankings by fellow South Atlantic Conference members Lincoln Memorial (4th), Mars Hill (6th) and Wingate (9th). Flagler maintained the top spot in the rankings with a win and a tie last week, and they are followed by UNC Pembroke and Young Harris.

The Pioneers (3-1-0) host Brevard in their SAC opener Tuesday afternoon at Pioneer Field, beginning at 6 p.m.
