Bell selected to USILA D2 Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- Tusculum University senior Keegan Bell has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Team of the Week for the week ending March 10, the USILA announced Tuesday.

Bell was honored for the second time this season after recording a pair of six-goal games last week. The Pioneers extended their winning streak to five in a row with wins over Mars Hill (15-13) and Barton (22-12). Bell had a pair of assists in the win over Barton on Saturday, while in the victory against Mars Hill on Wednesday he became the fifth player in program history to reach 100 career points.

The senior from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia is tied for the South Atlantic Conference lead in points with 35 and ranks second in the conference in goals with 25. After surpassing the 100-point mark for his career, Bell now ranks fifth in program history in both goals (69) and points (110).

The Pioneers (5-1, 1-0 SAC) will travel to Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday at 2 p.m. for a conference matchup with the Bears.
