ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum University senior attack Keegan Bell has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week in men's lacrosse for the week ending March 10, the conference office announced Monday.
Bell had a pair of six-goal games as the Pioneers extended their winning streak to five in a row with wins over Mars Hill (15-13) and Barton (22-12). Bell also had a pair of assists in the win over Barton on Saturday, while in the victory against Mars Hill on Wednesday he became the fifth player in program history to reach 100 career points.
The senior from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia is tied for the SAC lead in points with 35 and is second in the conference in goals with 25. After eclipsing the 100-point mark, Bell ranks fifth in program history in both goals (69) and points (110).
The Pioneers (5-1, 1-0 SAC) will visit Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday at 2 p.m. in a conference matchup with the Bears.
