SPARKS, Md. --- For a fifth consecutive week, the Tusculum men's lacrosse team is receiving votes in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Poll.
The Pioneers (3-3, 1-0 South Atlantic Conference) are coming off a 13-5 win over Mars Hill last Saturday in the league opener. TC has suffered two of their three losses to nationally ranked opponents in No. 7 Tampa and defending national champion and No. 14 Limestone.
The Pioneers return to action this Saturday when they host fifth-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne in a SAC contest at Pioneer Field beginning at 3 p.m. The last two regular season meetings between the Pioneers and the Bears have been decided by one goal with L-R winning both contests. Last season's meeting was a 12-11 overtime thriller in Hickory, North Carolina.
