Tusculum lacrosse signs Tim Drumtra

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tim Drumtra has signed a national letter of intent to attend Tusculum College and play lacrosse for the Pioneers announced TC head coach Richard Carrington.

Drumtra, a midfielder from Alexandria, Va., plays for the Oxen Hill Varsity Lacrosse (MD) and attends Commonwealth Academy in Alexanderia where he becomes the first student-athlete to commit to a NCAA Division I or II program.

"Tim's quickness and line to line speed is ideal for our up-tempo brand of lacrosse," said Carrington. "More importantly, he's a hardworking and unselfish leader, who has experience with new programs."

Drumtra is also a member of the Pure Lacrosse Club.

Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference. Tusculum, the oldest college in the State of Tennessee, sponsors 15 intercollegiate sports, including men's lacrosse, which will be competing in its first season during the 2013-2014 academic year.
