BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --- Tusculum freshman Nick Forsberg is listed in two statistical categories in this week's Golfstat NCAA Division II report.
The Staples, Minn. native is 17th in the country in par 3 scoring with a 3.10 average, which is also the fourth lowest amongst the nation's freshmen. He is also 20th in D-II with his 3.65 subpar strokes per round average, which is also the second best total in the South Atlantic Conference.
Forsberg leads the Pioneers with his 74.29 stroke average while playing in all nine events this year. He tallied six top-20 performances, including three top-five finishes.
Tusculum has finished third or better in five tournaments this year, including a pair of third place finishes in its last two events including the Tusculum Invitational and this week's J. Ralph Hargett Memorial.
The Pioneers return to action Apr. 14-16 as they compete at the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Championship in Sevierville, Tenn.
