TALLEY, MEN'S GOLF IN FOURTH AT ANDERSON INVITATIONAL

ANDERSON, S.C. --- Tusculum College freshman David Talley shot an opening round 74 and is tied for fourth place after day one action of the Anderson University Invitational, held this week at Cobb's Glen Golf Course.

The Pioneers posted a team score of 308 and is in fourth place, 10 shots behind first round leader Limestone (298). Lincoln Memorial University is second with 303, followed by North Greenville University (305), Tusculum, Catawba College (310), Anderson (312), Lenoir-Rhyne University (313), Wingate University (315) and Erskine College (316).

Rookie Luke Fullen is tied for the 10th place with 76 in his collegiate debut, while the Tusculum trio of Nick York, Glenn Vicary and Will Loggins are tied for 27th place with a 79.

Tuesday's final round will begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.
