BOWLING GREEN, Ky. --- The Tusculum University men's bowling team climbed three spots and finished fourth at the season-opening Bowling Green Baker Bash, Sunday at Southern Lanes.
The Pioneers, who entered the final day of the tournament in seventh place, posted 3666 pins to finish with a 40-game Baker total of 7356.
Tennessee Southern led the way with 7765, finish 27 pins in front of runner-up Bethel (7738). Lincoln Memorial was third with 7468, followed by Tusculum, University of the Cumberlands (7340), Thomas More (7335), Pikeville (7306), Campbellsville (7214), Shawnee State (7187), Midway (7158), Life University (7102), Tennessee Wesleyan (7013), Union, Ky. (6946), Cumberland, Tenn. (6723), Blue Mountain (6652), Lindsey Wilson (6645) and Milligan (6218).
Tusculum returns to action next week (Oct. 9-10) at the Orange and Black Classic in Beavercreek, Ohio.
