Pioneers remain 10th in D2SIDA Men's Basketball Region Poll

BRISTOL, Tenn. --- Tusculum remained 10th in this week's D2SIDA / NCAA Division II Southeast Region men's basketball rankings.

The Pioneers (4-2, 0-0 South Atlantic Conference) won its only game of the week as TU rallied from a nine-point deficit in a 60-57 overtime victory at North Georgia on Saturday.

Lincoln Memorial is the new No. 1 team as the Railsplitters earned all six first place votes and 60 total points. Queens, who lost Saturday at home to Belmont Abbey, dropped one spot and is second with 50 points. UNC Pembroke remains in third followed by Catawba, Belmont Abbey, King, Lees-McRae, Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne and Tusculum.

Tusculum will face No. 9 Lenoir-Rhyne on Tuesday in the SAC opener for both teams at Pioneer Arena. Tip-off time is set for 7:30 p.m.  TU will host No. 4 Catawba on Saturday at 4 p.m.
