ROCK HILL, S.C. --- A school-record 196 Tusculum student-athletes have been named to the 2017-2018 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll. The conference had 1,710 student-athletes honored for their achievements in the classroom.

So, one might excuse them for focusing solely on academics and their respective sports team during college. But Tusculum athletic teams have been very active in giving back to the community, whether their involvement occurs on their own or within the team setting.

ANDERSON, S.C. --- The Anderson University men’s basketball team placed five players in double figures to lead the Trojans to an 81-64 win over Tusculum Wednesday night at the Abney Athletic Center in South Atlantic Conference action.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Lenoir-Rhyne men’s basketball team closed out the game with a 6-1 run over the final two minutes as the Bears edged Tusculum 82-79 Saturday at Pioneer Arena in South Atlantic Conference action.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. --- Jake Barrett scored 21 points, including 17 in the second half in Coker’s 104-93 South Atlantic Conference win over Tusculum Saturday afternoon at the DeLoach Center.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Peyton Woods poured in a career-high 31 points to lead the Tusculum men’s basketball team to a 97-71 South Atlantic Conference victory over Mars Hill Wednesday night at Pioneer Arena.
