Vest, Pioneers listed in NCAA Men's basketball statistics

INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum College's Kevin Vest continues to be listed amongst nation's best free throw shooters in the country according to this week's NCAA Division II men's basketball statistics.

Vest, a senior guard from Dayton, Ohio, is shooting 86.2 percent from the charity stripe, which is 39th in the nation. His seasonal average is currently fourth-best in TC single-season history. His .836 career free throw percentage is the fifth-best in Tusculum history and eighth in the South Atlantic Conference record book.

The Pioneers (9-15, 6-10 SAC) own the 39th-best team free throw percentage at 73.8, which is the second-best in the league this year. TC is also 59th in field goal percentage (.467), 76th in field goal percentage defense (.422), 81st in scoring defense (67.6 ppg) and 99th in rebound margin (+2.4).

Tusculum returns home on Wednesday when they host Lenoir-Rhyne (12-13, 8-8 SAC) for an 8 p.m. contest at Pioneer Arena.
