ROCK HILL, S.C. --- A school record 204 Tusculum University student-athletes have been named to the 2019-2020 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, which was announced on Monday. The conference had 2,175 student-athletes from the league’s 12 member institutions honored for their achievements in the classroom.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- A school-record 398 student-athletes have been named to the 2020 Tusculum University Athletic Director’s Spring Honor Roll announced Doug Jones, vice president of athletics and university initiatives.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Dee Alford and Nicole McMillen were named the 2019-2020 Tusculum University Athletes of the Year during the athletic department’s virtual awards show Friday night. The event, which is held annually at the department’s end of the year athletic banquet, was done virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
IRVING, Texas --- Four Tusculum University student-athletes have been named to the National Football Foundation’s Hampshire Honor Society. Earning spots on this year’s Hampshire Honor Society are Christian Bell, Will Boney, Javon Green and Devin Woodson.

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University and the South Atlantic Conference continue to assess the impact of COVID-19 in consultation with public health and medical professionals, as such the SAC Presidents Council has made the decision to cancel all spring athletics competition and practice for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year. This includes all SAC spring sports championships.

ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Six Tusculum University student-athletes have been named to the 2019 All-South Atlantic Conference Football Team announced league officials on Tuesday. The team is selected by a vote of the league’s nine head football coaches.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. --- Quarterback Tyler Thackerson accounted for four touchdowns, while the Carson-Newman defense recorded a school-record 10 sacks as the Eagles defeated in-state rival Tusculum 49-13 Saturday afternoon at Burke-Tarr Stadium. It was the 49th meeting in the second oldest collegiate gridiron rivalry in the State of Tennessee (1904).
