PEMBROKE, N.C. --- Tusculum University offensive tackle Keveon Broadwater has been named to the 2018 Division II Conference Commissioners Association's All-Super Region 2 second team announced officials Friday.
Broadwater, 6-4, 315-pound junior from Gaffney, South Carolina (Gaffney HS) has been an anchor in the TU trenches for the past three seasons where he has started in 31 consecutive games and was an All-South Atlantic Conference first team selection this season. The Tusculum offense boasted one of the top rushing attacks in the conference churning out 173.2 yards per game.
The Pioneers finished the season with a 5-5 overall record including 4-3 in the South Atlantic Conference to finish third in the league standings. It is TU's third straight season to finish in the top half of the conference and best overall finish since 2014.
The D2CCA All-Region team is selected by a vote of the media relations directors of D2SIDA representing teams in the South Atlantic Conference, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Gulf South Conference.
